PROELEC System

The electrocoagulation process is similar to the typical physical and chemical treatment, but using electrical energy.

Electrocoagulation can be defined as an electrochemical process whereby, based on compounds deriving from the dissolution of an anode (sacrificial anode) which may be aluminium or iron, the colloidal matter to be found in the waste water is grouped, enabling its separation by way of conventional techniques.

The PROELEC systems allows the waste water to be treated continuously without having to store it. Also, it has an automatic system to clean the electrodes (anode/cathode) with the aim to reduce the maintenance and operation time and, it has a full controlled three-phase or monophasic drive AC/DC that minimizes the power consumption.

The investment and the operating cost are much lower than physical and chemical treatment.
